Soaking Prayer Center Opening Date
Tuesday March 20, 2007
We will be opening our Catch the Fire Soaking Prayer Center on Tuesday March 20, 2007, which is the date of the Hebrew new year: 1st of Nisan year 5767. On that date, among other notable occurrences, Ezra and the exiles began their return to Jerusalem from Babylon (Nisan 1, 457 BC, Ezra 7:9).
The Lord chose this date, and He is attaching great prophetic significance to us gathering on this date to seek His face, to soak in His presence, to meet with Him. This marks the date of the beginning of the fulfillment of the vision the Lord gave us.
(Ezra 7:9, 10) "On the first day of the first month he began his journey from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month he came to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him. For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD , and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel."
"So I was encouraged, as the hand of the LORD my God was upon me; and I gathered leading men of Israel to go up with me" (Ezra 7:28b). Needless to say, I am encouraged, for the time of restoration has come. As we turn from Babylon, which is fallen (Rev. 18:2), we are beginning to see the New Jerusalem, the bride, coming down from God out of heaven (Rev. 21:9, 10). We are beginning to see the Kingdom of God come in the earth as it is in heaven (Mat. 6:10). Hallelujah!
